So talk over previously recorded voice delete mistakes and video with text highlighted no and encoding or exports share instantly so very very cool um okay so free download Komodo for Mac so that's interesting I didn't even know this I guess they do have a uh Mac download okay so that's cool um the one thing I'd say is I it'd be cool if they also got a Windows version since I'm currently on Windows right now but uh step one record video record

Your screen camera and talk so similar to loom or vidyard it's you know that's how it looks I'll show you in a second you can share it which is step two and that's pretty much it and how Komodo can be used so screencasting at work education for teachers and students sales enablement right so send short highly personalized videos to prospects walking them through your product offering all right and that's one of the reasons I got it and Komodo is embeddable so

Yeah you can see here you know different stuff about the tech Partners uh read customer testimonials and yeah so they do have a browser extension which I have they have an iOS application I didn't I saw this but so see their iOS application is kind of weird because I downloaded it too and it's a video slideshow maker so I think that's why their name may be Komodo Dax maybe they used to make slideshow I don't know I don't know why okay

Record presentations directly on your phone or tablet easily use it to export your perfect picture so maybe I guess it I guess that's what it's made for I mean um I don't know if I necessarily use it I think I deleted it on my on my iPad but maybe I'll download it again but um they do have the Mac App and the Android app I wish they had a Windows app but yeah so that's pretty much it on their website um

Now let me actually show you first um if I go to Komodo decks I can check out the pricing here since I'm not logged in so the pricing typically is zero dollars for up to ten videos daily analysis unlimited lengths of videos so their free version has unlimited lengths which is looms can only do five minutes uh for their free version uh high resolution output screen recording with camera and then video embeds and their professional version is seven bucks U.S per

Month unlimited videos daily analysis unlimited lengths of videos high resolution outputs screen recording with camera video embeds and then Enterprise you have to contact them but it's more that seven bucks USD um they're just very basic plan here's their uh their you know Google extension so it's very similar to like Loom or vidyard or any one of these tools with their extension and then here's Loom's pricing just so you have a comparison so free starter is 50 Creator lights up to

25 videos per person up to five minutes per video so you can record more but you can can't record as long of videos and then screen recording and cam bubble instant editing unlimited transcripts okay so pretty cool uh privacy controls viewer insights and then business is unlimited creators but it's still a bucks us per Creator and that's annually so I guess monthly would maybe even be uh more I think um anyways um up to 50 Creator lights everything in starter pack

Plus custom branding which is pretty cool oh I didn't even know that I don't know if that's that's cool because I still have Loom I don't even I don't think I've even enabled custom branding yet um engagement insights embed links and video password protected videos and then video uploads and then Enterprise let's talk so um there's that I mean it's a bit more expensive than Komodo and just for curiosity let's go to vidyard I'm curious what this how this compares uh

Pricings so I've used Loom and video art so video art is zero box for the free up to 25 videos in library video editing oh so I didn't even wow I didn't I think they just added this limit of 25 videos I guess all these screen recording tools because Loom you could you there was used to be no limit on how on all this stuff you could do a lot on the free plan so it looks like a lot of these

Video tools have added these limits to the free plan so now everyone has to go upgrade but with the pro you get 19 bucks per month unlimited videos video insights a call to action for your videos and then business is 145 bucks per person per month um and then you get all this stuff so you know like video art is like way more expensive now so uh oh it's actually annually that 19 bucks is on a monthly plan it's actually 29

Bucks on my or sorry that's on an annual plan 29 bucks for monthly and I can't even find uh Loom's monthly plan because this is their annual plan so um I don't know what their monthly plan is price that but it's definitely higher I think it may be like 14 15 bucks but I don't know or 12 bucks I don't know anyways so that is obviously showing that Komodo is the most affordable um let's see how you know good the quality

Is you know next but let's quickly look because right now they're actually listed on appsumo so there is a lifetime deal that you can get and it starts from a very affordable price all the way to still pretty affordable 209 bucks not that bad and I'll show you what you get so here's the appsumo page you can see it's a alternative to Cloud app Loom screencastify um I've used Loom I heard about screencastify I made I was gonna try it out

Haven't used it um I haven't used Berry cast either but I was thinking look gonna use that to test it out but um you can see here the one thing about Komodo decks is actually also matte so it meant it can record videos but it can also build guides so if you're building Sops for your business this can be a very good useful tool for you and I'll show you that in a second I can see here lifetime access to Komodo

Just try it you literally cannot go wrong with tier one right I personally bought more just because I want the team to use it right um for different things for training for outreach for this for that and so I actually I'll tell you what I what tier I bought in a second but let me go through them all maybe you can guess and see but when I as I go through them but tier two 69 bucks us uh five users unlimited

Videos Sub domain and then tier three 160 or 136 139 15 users unlimited videos and subdomain tier three so that's tier three and then tier four which is our last tier is 209 bucks you get 50 users unlimited videos and a sub domain so you can see here uh you're only adding about 60 bucks almost yeah exactly 60 bucks from tier 3 to tier four which is you know what you're paying for tier two right here about 69 bucks and you're

The back end right um as you know like I didn't even add the subdomain yet so there are a few things I still don't quite have uh all figured out but yeah I can add up to 50 users you can see I'm on tier four um I'm curious about how I do the sub domain um um I may have to just figure that out later let me if I search um do they have a help center maybe not I'll just have

To ask him uh hey how do I add a sub domain oops whatever there we go um so you can see here this is kind of the interface right we have folders recordings and feedback then there's the record button and you can also upload too so you can drag and drop videos upload them here which is pretty cool um so your recordings pretty standard that's where you're going to see your recording Library you can see here this is the first thing

That they have in here so this video is just standard when you sign up and it it's kind of a combination between a video and a guide so you'll see what hi I'm kind of founder of kimono uh this will be a quick intro to the product kamado is a screencasting solution so here's a few tips uh first these suggest when you install the extension there's a button here to access extensions it's dependent if you pin the extension it will appear

Here at the top right always then to Simply start the recording and just press this green button and when you do that it asks you do you want to record the whole screen a window or a tab in this case I'm going to select window press shift so you have to give it the permissions to access your microphone which I'll do and the CC is not it's already recording um some other tips if you don't want all these buttons to appear

You can just condense them or collapse them that's right and this way you can just focus on the recording also you can turn off the camera if you don't want that to be present as well so I'm going to stop this for a moment and come back here some some things that are not obvious is when people see your video or the content that you're creating commodore um when they play it back there's also an ability to come and so anywhere

In the video you know uh people can come in so like and uh write a comment and saying hey there's a question about this and um whenever someone does a comment on your video you'll get an email that there was a common APR file lastly there's a guide feature which this video will contain and what the guide is which I showed in the beginning is when they record a video play it back every action or every click is recorded in the

Timeline and so as soon as this action hits uh on the on the right there's a screenshot of the action and people can actually follow along with your video and click the links that um your demoing so that's a quick intro to kimono hope you like it do let us know what you think and we're here to help always thanks awesome so as I was just that was a quick video I wanted to go through it all for you guys just

A picture it highlights it or whatever click on new uh this fold action by showing to how to use comments so it just literally walks you step by step and it hovers and highlights automatically where you're clicking and creates an automatic guide so creating like a procedure has never been so easy I mean there's other tools that do similar things but Komodo X is just great for the price and and I just like it it's pretty cool um anyway so yeah

So you can make a video if you just make a strict video it's going to show up here if you just make a strict guide it's going to show up here if you make a video and a guide I think it's going to show up uh here I don't is this Komodo I think we'll just show up in the videos guide for Komodo or maybe it goes there too is this the same oh I will show up both places I think

Yeah because this is the same guide so that's cool so if you make a guide and a video it's going to show up in the guide and video section here's folders so you can see here I created some like just basic folders so you can create folders you can add create a folder and add a video to there or you can like go over here and you could just uh go to here and then move to and you can move it

While I'm recording or before or after so that's really cool and like you can easily like move them around and this and that so that makes it very useful um let me just delete these um so that's something that's pretty unique and then uh like you said in the video you can collapse the menu and you can also just close interface like that now the one thing I wish they would do is hopefully they do this I mean they're doing a

Lot of development so I'm assuming they'll probably end up maybe doing some of this eventually but you can't move this interface around like if I pull up Loom real quick I'll show you what Loom looks like uh where is my loom um hold up I actually think I whereas my loom here it is let me just repin it so here's Loom I click it it shows like this um okay so access denied because I'm using it that's fine but you can

See here this is cool so one thing is that it actually can show just my profile picture which is the Komodo should do this too just as an option so I can either change photo I could either make this bigger or smaller and I can also make it so it's my video of my face obviously I'm not going to do that right now but um I can actually also just exit this out so you can see here it looks similar to

Komodo except um wait let me go back like I can move my face around right so I can move this around the whole entire screen and that's what makes it like really cool plus like I mean this interface is kind of cool too you can I mean this is whatever canvas oh you can that's kind of cool too you can create a canvas that's like nothing too crazy but yeah so if Komodo the main thing I would say is if they

Could just um have it so you can move this around and that would be better just so it's more fluent and more user friendly but anyways let me just quickly like record something just to test so I CL you click record and just like you showed in the video just like you would do anywhere else you can select what screen you want and then click share and then you can just record uh Komodo wants to use your microphone so I can

Allow it it's gonna say three two one hopefully it doesn't mess anything up with this video but boom now we're recording so you can pause recording stop recording you can turn off microphone add blur effects like before you can turn on camera turn off camera you can cancel recording collapse menu do all the above and you can see here as I'm recording since I'm doing a guide see how when I'm hovering over stuff and this yellow highlight is there now watch

What happens if I click on something so I go to guides oops what why is it not working should work right what's going on here oh that took a while that was kind of weird let me try that again what's wrong Let me refresh Maybe um there we go okay then there we go let me try guys okay so there we go they're just having some technical difficulties but you can see here um when I click on it you know it's

Highlighting I click on it now it's all working perfectly so I was just a little bit of technical difficulties at the start but in here I'm just clicking on some random stuff right now just going through and now okay I'm done my video done my training let's stop it let's see what we get here so it's loading boom so say presentation you can just you know name it whatever so I'm just gonna keep it default and now look we have that

Video doesn't mess anything up with this video but boom now we're recording so you can pause recording as you can see here the video was recorded and you can see here on the right we actually have um you know some guides the guide right here automatically you know gave us the guide obviously it was a it's a little bit uh and look even screenshots and everything click on guides click on guys just because of that technical difficulties at the start I

Was like clicking on so many different things but you can see here once it's picked up and you know wasn't having issues click on guides click on highlighted element which is the it's showing what the highlighted element is click on Komodo hello introduction you know so uh and then yeah this is where it started like I think it started working click on seven day views so it will tell you what the text is what the element is click on this click

On that it will show you a screenshot with the highlighted thing so it just makes documenting a process like so much easier right so that's really good so you know you can I think this is yeah you can add comments like he showed in the thing if I had a question about this right here oh what's the guide then I can highlight that continue add annotation what guide is this boom question save so your team or whoever could go through this

And now look that question is right here I could add a reply and say that is the best God boom and then save so boom I can I just replied to myself but you can delete them of course right whatever but yeah and uh so yeah you can go previous and next to go to go through the guide so like if you had a guy you could literally just have the video here but it just makes documenting so easy like it's

Actually so cool because I could have a process and my team member could just be going next next next and it's going through the guide on the right as the videos here so it's actually just like really in that's really cool and very powerful like I didn't I'm actually like I didn't even fully like take this in before this video that it could do that and that like how this works I I knew that it does this but now I'm seeing

It live in action and I'm like wow I can do a lot with this so I'm excited for this um the last thing I want to see I okay at the moment I don't know I'm not gonna try to make this video too long so if I can't find it I'm just gonna assume that I either can't find it or maybe they haven't ruled it out yet but I'm curious to see that that whole video editing thing that we saw on
