All right what's going on everybody Josh pocock here founder and CEO of executive stride in today's video we're going to be looking at go high level blogs it's a new feature within your go high level account right here you can see Vlogs it's new let's dive into it and let's see how you can create and host your own blogs directly within your go Hollow funnels let's see this [Music] all right so here if you like like I just showed if you

Go to sites blogs you'll see now you can set up manage and distribute blog content so this is extremely powerful and yes I did a video uh a few days ago about how to actually host WordPress websites within the go high level which is you know one way you can host your blog and whatever it's very very powerful in and of itself but let's just say maybe you don't want to host the WordPress website for specific uh site or you're not

Too familiar with WordPress you just want to stick to go high level you already built out maybe a full website on go high level well now you can host a Blog directly here so it's very easy you create a funnel or website page to host your blog inside your page builder add the blog the blog post list element and then choose how many blog posts you want visible on the widget and the layout options one standard or two Compact and then

The second step is start writing blog content using the optimized SEO editor you can create concise keyword Rich articles that are easy for readers to understand and search engines to index and custom SEO options so you control which categories authors keywords images videos and links appear on your pages alright so let's create a blog post so the title description and image will be used for SEO metadata meta tags all right so you can choose your title um how to make a

YouTube video cool and you can change your alt text for the cover image I'm not going to add a cover image right now but you would add a cover image here and then um actually let me try here change and this alt text for the cover image we could say start here all right post description and a spell and then give a short description for viewers to get a glimpse of the post all right best between 100 to 250 characters now

Let's create our post so blog post has been created now you will see the blog post editor so a nice intuitive interface we have here for editing writing crafting or blog posts you can see here it's a typical um you know like writing interface where we have our formatting options at the top we have uh was undo redo block uh bold italicize underline strikethrough font so you can change the font here the font size uh you can change paragraph H1 h2h3h4x5

Uh you can change the alignment here center right left justify indent right outdent um text spacing you can change that here add Blue List numbered list to-do list highlight text and certain colors highlight uh highlight text so if I wanted to highlight this quilt here like so all right so that changes the text color actually and this should highlight the text so there we go and then insert link insert image insert audio insert video block quote or quote insert emojis insert

Divider insert custom code what that's pretty cool uh format all content so that's really cool um and then format selected so it's a very nice Editor to be honest it's actually better than a lot of editors blog editors like it's a typical thing it's not it's just it doesn't really matter but it it's actually really nice they kind of added some cool features that um that just make it a lot better than other you know editors I've seen you can see

Your word count up here so very very nice um this is like a sticky menu too so as you scroll you see all your formatting options you can see here we have like a checklist here and actually this default um blog post here that it auto generates kind of shows you um a few a good a lot of formatting tactics that you can use within your blog and you can kind of copy this right now next is you could up here

In the three dots you can either duplicate post preview post C version history delete blog post you could save your blog post right or you could continue so if we continue all right now we're gonna see publish or schedule so blog post SEO details you can see that here what we did before you can see the URL slug so you can change this so this will be your url right forward slash you know and then the URL slug of the blog

Category right so you can add specific categories so you can create category labels so if I want to say this is a marketing categories so you can create all these categories and then uh enable like basically tag certain all your blog posts within the desired category and then you'll be able to search and filter by categories so that's really cool you can add category images uh category URL slug so say if it's marketing I just do marketing here and then category

Description so I can create this category you're gonna need at least one category but you can add multiple right and then add keywords you go ahead and add some keywords Here YouTube for example add author so this is not mandatory but you can add a new author and then you could like go like this Josh full clock I can add a picture of my face uh image alt text if you don't know alt text for SEL purposes so may as well

Use it um and then author description and then Facebook link you know Twitter LinkedIn Instagram YouTube create author then you can have all these authors that you pre-made and then whoever's writing this blog you could just select that author there in the drop down right now blog status you can save as draft you can publish or you can schedule and publish right so I could save his draft for example and now you'll see my total blog post here my published blog

Post my visitors per week this is a demo account by the way up here in settings I can see my authors so I can add new Authors my categories so I can add or delete new categories I can go back here send feedback and I can filter by status right um I can see what the status is here the category updated by last updated blog post name and go here change blog post SEO details preview blog post duplicate blowst edit post

Archive post delete post right and let's say if I wanted to post this let's go continue let's go publish publish it now all right save all right so now it is published now you may be wondering where do you see this well first of all we can go ahead and preview this is a preview right here you see the image you put will show up here which is really nice and you'll see the category the post time and it even shows

That this is a six minute read really really cool stuff I didn't even know that but now I do um you can always you can always expect the unexpected with go high level and like the features they have the developer team like it's just such a great tool um you know I know some people on this channel you know looking for Lifetime deals this and that uh I'm gonna be doing a lot more videos on that so if you're looking for

Those cool stay tuned as well and other other type of videos but in terms of like um like this tool trust me on this like it's definitely either if you say you need like this tool is very very powerful I think any every business needs it um if it's not right this second which it should be but if like there's maybe some excuse like you'll you're gonna need in the future if you want to scale uh in my opinion because you

Can't have only like every single tool not connected and one like and there's even like some alternative tools to go high level that they're trying to come out with but they're just way behind they're they're glitchy they're finicky they don't make sense trust me go high level smooth it's the tool to choose all right so I actually went over here to my funnel section and let me just refresh this all right so I actually just created a template funnel all right

And we're gonna go in here and we're going to set up the blog I'm going to show you how to integrate the blog into your website right so here's a funnel cool whatever um here we'll even do it here you can make a separate page but for like the blog as well I'm just gonna embed it on the home page for now so let's go in here so this loads up and here we have it all right so got a nice

Website beautiful website here it's actually insane that they just uh give these to you but anyways so we are going to let's just say right about here we're gonna add this in going to go vlog post cool now you'll have a few options as you can see here we have standard compact so you can choose how you want the blog to look and you can embed this on any page right so that's really cool um you can have it looking different

On the home page and maybe different on another page like the blog page you can change the pagination so the blog content will be replaced by actual post content during preview or in the live URL page Nation so this basically shows I believe how many posts it will show before the next page correct me if I'm wrong um but anyways yeah you can fool around with that more stories so you can change this button text as you can see here more

Stories you can also change the color and all this stuff of that right see here say if we wanted this to actually match things use the green button border border you know you could mess around with this okay and then Advanced options you can choose spacing options right here not gonna do too much with that order and Shadow so you could go ahead mess around with this and then visibility um so other than that that's how you actually embed and then

Let's say for example we're done we're previewing this we're saving it ready to go let's take a look at how it will look five right we only have one blog post bear in mind so scroll down here boom there we have it if I click on the vid uh the blog it's actually gonna open right here wait there we go right here so pretty cool stuff um pretty cool stuff right and uh yeah really cool stuff actually so that is how
