GoHighLevel 📋 Forms, Surveys, & Quizzes To Replace Jotform, TypeForm, & SurveyGizmo - Josh Pocock

All right what's going on everybody Josh pocock here founder and CEO of executive stride in today's video we're going to be looking at how to replace tools like jotform not not having to pay anymore you know 40 to 130 bucks per month some of these tools are even more for forums and Survey Builders but just as an example we can just look at jotform how to replace that with go high levels built in forms and surveys or if you're not familiar

Go high level check out some of my other videos but um you can save a bunch of money utilizing a tool like this on all your different softwares replace things like type forms drop form survey Gizmo and a bunch of other tools all within one system so without a do let's get right into it [Music] all right so go high level if we're looking at our go high level count here this is a demo account but you can see here all

I do is go to sites and then I can go to surveys or forms we'll take a look at two of them briefly so if I go to for example surveys we can see Builder analysis analyze and submissions and you'll see the same thing with forms so I can here's my Builder so I'll see all my forms the name the server ID and the status if I go to analyze we'll be able to see you know what you know records have

Been being submitted through my forms over the past few days months week Etc even the year or last year right and then if I go to submissions that's where I'll see the actual submissions and I can filter by all surveys or a specific survey and the same thing goes with forms I'm just showing you in the survey section and you can go here filter it by how many you want per page as well as the time frame there all right now

How do you actually build a survey well you go over here to the Builder you click on create new survey and you'll see here this is what it will look like so first off I'm going to remove this branding down here because we don't need that let me go to options and we're going to let's see I think it's in style actually so Styles we're going to remove agency branding now within the survey section you'll see that you have Fields so

You have you have your standard Fields so these are things like full name first name last name phone email organization address city state country postal code website Source date of birth text HTML image capture and then you have your custom Fields so these are custom feels that you can create and yeah you can just click on add custom field and you can select things like text input so single line multi-line text box list you can do values so numeric values numbers

Phone numbers monetary so dollar amount and then you can do things like choosing options so drop down single select drop down multiple select right radio select so you know these check boxes uh check box so radio and checkbox is different checkbox you can select multiple radio you just select one date picker all right you can select a date file upload and upload a file and then signature I don't know why it's not showing here but you could do a signature right

So you have a bunch of options for custom Fields you can create as many as your heart desires gets uh you know creative with it for different types of forums or surveys onboarding forms quiz prospecting forms qualification forms all these sort of stuff right and um you'll see here for surveys you have slides so this is how you add more slides right now you can see I have four slides if I click on the slide here um click on the slide

You'll see the slide name and the slide position so if I change this I don't think I can change the position by typing you would actually just have to drag it like so now you'll see the position is changing but to change the name you don't necessarily need to this is kind of just for internal purposes but uh you this is where your the slide name will show this won't show on the front facing end this will only show on the

Back end and then you can actually drag whatever field you want into the slides so you can have full name you can have like one field per slide like full name phone number email you know organization company name uh or you could have multiple in a single slide so you could do like um like this so you can really build it and customize it how you want also too if you click on the field you'll be able to see the Field

Title name so you can actually change this if you want so if I go down to organization I want to change it to uh what's your company name so you can put it in like a question form like so you can change the price holder or the placeholder um company name and you could change the query key so the query key is a key that can be used as a URL parameter to populate this field so say if you create a

Query key um such as a company name you can use this query key to send your UTM or basically to send parameters to a next page say if I have a quiz or a survey on one page and then I'm redirecting them to a calendar booking page well I can basically um the redirection URL I can set up could include this query parameter and um and then it could show you know basically um feed that query parameter into the next page

Say if I want to pass parameters that someone fills out so if someone fills out their company name or fills out their first name and last name and phone number already I could pass that string into the the redirected page for um if someone's booking a call it can automatically fill in those param like those those fields so they don't have to do it twice or whatever right so you can use it for that and you can also use it for

Stuff like say if you know you have their first thing here you get a query and then actually you wouldn't need a query a query key um but one thing just as a side note you could do is you could take the uh like the contact name field and you could put it on a landing page and say like thank you contact name field I guess maybe you would yeah yeah and then you would say thank you that contact name field

For filling out the quiz you have been approved or whatever and it would actually populate their name so thank you Josh for filling this out blah blah blah blah all right so I don't think that's with the query key I believe that's just with normal contact Fields but uh like contact Dot um full name or or whatever the heck it is I went over some of that in other videos it uh it would look like something like this I think it's

Like contact Dot like full name or something it depends it's something like this I'd have to double check but you can track and go high level support section we're not really covering that though that's just a little side note anyways not to get off topic but um with these fields you can also create required so if you want the field to be required so they can't go to the next slide or whatever and so they fill that out then you would

Select required so it can either be required or optional right like so and that's pretty much it now you can also over here you can create so say if I wanted to do a uh text like so oh not no sorry not text I wanted to do a actually what I would do is a custom field of a single line and say if I wanted to do like UTM medium the thing is go high level already tracks pretty much UTM and

Parameters if you're familiar with that but you can still add like hidden parameters um to a field like so I'll show you what I'm talking about say first name let's just pretend this was like a UTM parameter I could create hidden fields and I could enter the hidden value or the values of this hidden field like say if it was UTM Source this is obviously a first name field I'm doing it for but you would want to if you were to

Do this you would want to create a a new custom field and name it whatever and then add the hidden value here but you could do UTM parameters UTM Source UTM medium UTM campaign thing is go high level already tracks that I believe internally which is really cool but say if you're doing something like say if it's a a for example I'll give you an example if you are creating a survey or form hiring people recruiting people and you're using different

Draw boards or different sites and then within that link that you're linking to the form from the draw board so if you want to track what job board that's coming from first of all go high level I'm pretty sure actually already does that actually it does track the source but you could just put any type of sort of thing there but say if you wanted to do it with that you could just create a parameter and then create a hidden value

And then uh when you're and linking that the link to the Forum on the draw board you would just um you would do like UTM Source equals you know um what is it um upwork or whatever right so the thing is and you would do like UTM or and yeah look up UTM parameters and look up how to do that that's just a side note this that's really not what this video is about but I'm just showing you you can add

Hidden values and stuff if you want um now that may be a little maybe a little bit Advanced for some people if you're not familiar with that so don't even worry about that you do not have to know about that stuff it's not mandatory that's just a side note for people who want to get very like who want to track more things or if they have certain data they want to track um so you can do that and then what else

So we have styles so you can either choose to show or hide labels of the phone of these uh Fields here so you could hide labels and just it would just show the placeholder Fields right or you could show them you can change the background right here so we can make this red right um I don't know why you would do that but maybe it goes with your branding and then font color you can change this like so make it blue

Or white I want to do this I'm just showing you as an example border so say if we're using a border like you can see here this uh dotted border we can change the width of it we can change the corner radius so the higher the corner radius the more rounded it's going to be and then we can change the width uh like let's say 800. okay so that's just the width of the whole survey so um what else custom CSS

I'll come to that in a second you can change the background image um you can actually so say if I just wanted to remove the Border just put zero like so okay we didn't want to board a radius we could do that or I could just keep it like so and then options you can change the survey name here test now on submit you can change it to either open URL and it will redirect to a URL like a booking page

Say for example or a message so thank you for taking the time to complete the survey you can add a custom message you can also create these things right here so disqualify immediately if a message oh so so this is the message so if it just go if you're going to just I'll show you this in a second because you can create um contingent uh what do you call it like conditional um you can create conditional surveys I'll show you and

Then a second with conditional logic so say if we're doing that and say if like you're doing something you're you are a home service company and you can't work with clients if they're over a certain age like if they're over 75 you can't get um financing for them or whatever like they won't get approved so you want to disqualify those people you don't want to waste your time you don't even want them to be able to complete the survey so what

You're going to do disqualify immediately if it this is immediately you can just send them a message thank you for taking this time to complete the survey you don't qualify unfortunately blah blah blah blah or if they don't qualify for that specific service but you want to redirect them to a different URL maybe they qualify for or just a disqualification page you can put a URL in here for that right so you can get very um you know I guess advanced

In terms of lead qualification with these surveys and conditional stuff like that and I'll show you that in just a second and then disqualify after submit so yeah so you could either do disqualify immediately with what you would if they answer the wrong question we'll disqualify them immediately or if they answer the wrong question it will disqualify them after submit so that it really depends and I'll show you what how that works in a second here you can add the Facebook

Pixel ID so ignore this field if you plan to use the form slash survey inside a funnel because then you you're just going to want to add the pixel ID into the funnel which is recommended you want to use this in a funnel don't just don't just like use the direct survey URL trust me um and then pixel Facebook pixel events if you're using it on page view page view uh you can change Etc on form submission right there's some stuff

There survey field settings one question at a time interesting um so yeah you can enable or disable sticky contact so sticky contact will autofill contact information previously entered so you don't have to enter it twice so you could use that um back button so enable or disable a back button disable auto navigation so if turned on the survey will not automatically go to the next slide so that means they would have to click next but if you don't have this on

If it's Auto navigation then basically say if I I had a radio or like a radio question right with radio buttons and they selected one once they select it it will automatically go to the next slide so it's a little bit faster uh progress bars you can enable or disable this disable animation so turning this off will disable the slide transition animation so you can enable or disable scroll to the top so if turned on the survey will scroll uh to

Top on the next slide so when you click next it will automatically make sure it's scrolled to the top Banner image oh okay that's where that is and then you can change full width or not for that Banner image and then footer HTML can add some code here for HTML code all right you can also by the way add HTML code right here so if you want to add JavaScript or like any custom code HTML JavaScript whatever any scripts like that

You can add them there um image captcha so you capture okay I didn't know they had capture that's cool that's really cool uh I think it could be new because they've been adding so much new features lately uh website postal code so yeah um what else there was one other thing um oh yes so conditional logic so let's see so what you do is if you click on a slide um you can see here okay let me do a field okay

Let me just for a sake of this I'll I'll create a custom field for you guys Uh custom field we'll do a multi we'll do a radio selection okay so next and we'll name this field test uh object will be contact group so this is where you can select what type of group this will be for we'll just put it as additional info and you can create other folders for this in these settings and go into custom Fields you can create

Folders and really organize your custom fields which is really cool um and then let's just do test one and you can add an option icon as well which is awesome test two and test three okay fair enough allow custom values so if you wanted a custom value where they can enter info you can select that we're not going to do that let's just click save all right okay there's the custom Fields I knew I had some but um anyways let's go

Here let's put this actually what we'll do is go to new slide drag this here and if we click on this slide actually no if you click on this question this field this is where you'll see the logic so you can see the placeholder you'll see the query field you can select required or hidden field but for this there's no reason to have a hidden field on uh something like this uh radio now you can select if they choose test one

Then we're going to move them to this slide to P3 slide one if they choose test two we'll move them to slide five if they choose test three we will disqualify either immediately or after submit like I was showing you all right and then you can build that out through like a multitude of questions and all this stuff within your um in in your survey and quiz right now this will only really work if for questions like like where there's multiple

Choices right um it's not you're not going to be able to do conditional Logic for like a placeholder of a name and say if their name is Josh then you're going to move them to this slide and if their name is this then you're gonna I mean there's really no value in that you know just use just use um what I was showing you there right so as you can see you can get very intricate with this once you're ready you

Can click save survey and you can also click integrate survey and then you can either embed this survey and an iframe on any sort of website um ideally probably your go high level funnels and websites if you don't know how to build those check out my other video I made on how to do that or you can click this link to test and see right and here's what it will look like here's what it looks like right as you can see

Sticky contact right here that's why I pulled up and you would just click next and go through I'm not going to go through though um right now like I said I would I you would want to embed this on a website so you can either integrate the server here and embed it like so use this embed code or when you're in the website builder portion of go high level like billing funnels and whatnot there's an element uh called survey so you

Can just drag that survey anywhere on your website and then you can select any of your surveys so you can do it either way um doesn't really matter there's sometimes a bit of a difference depending on uh certain CSS codes sometimes but uh not that big you can figure it out either way works all right to show you an example of some custom CSS code I have on one of our forms here's like what you can make you're going to actually

Make your go high level you can get really like with custom code you can do a lot of different stuff here I'm not going to go over all of that in this video but um you know you can see here there's this is not just like a typical go high level um what the form looks like it looks a bit different but you can make them even look nicer and more advanced you can get really creative with it if you have

Custom code and that's where you would put it in the CSS portion right also too I'll briefly go over this and maybe we'll make a longer video on forums a similar thing you'll see your forms here if I go to create new form you can create forums same exact way forms are really just the same thing as a survey the way you create them all the same principles apply that I just showed you the only difference is it's just going to

Be on one it's basically just like on one slide so it's just a very long survey that doesn't have extra slides and animations all right so we use both of them in certain situations but that is how you do it guys very very useful it's going to say one it's going to save you a bunch of money on other tools like drop form type form all these things plus it's going to make your systems and processes a lot more seamless yes

You can use tools like zapier and stuff to zap new submissions into your CRM personally I just like we've done that in the past we've used drop format I do actually really like drop form um it was good it just like I don't know go Hollow was kind of just taking over to be honest like Why Pay 129 bucks per month for 100 forms and 10 000 monthly submissions or you could pay obviously there's cheaper versions but look at you only

Get 25 forms 50 forms 100 forms go high level you get unlimited forms unlimited surveys unlimited submissions unlimited space unlimited monthly views unlimited total storage unlimited Fields perform unlimited monthly payment submissions unlimited sign like unlimited everything then you get unlimited users it's like literally a no-brainer it's it's better in my opinion and a lot of other people's opinions and it also saves you a crap ton of money so it's just like that's why I've been making a lot of videos on
