BREAKING: Clickfunnels 2.0 Lawsuit Against GoHighLevel! + NEW Clickfunnels 2.0 CRM 😱⚖

Breaking news clickfunnels is trying to sue go high level for breaking and infringing on one of their patents is this true do they have a case let's dive right into [Music] it all right so of course I'm no lawyer and I'm not going to go through this whole entire lawsuit and read it verbatim but I will give you a brief summary of this lawsuit and a link for this actual lawsuit official lawsuit will be in the description below if you want

To take a look at it but as you can see this is the official lawsuit between um Edison LLC clickfunnels plaintiff versus highlevel Inc defendant and it's basically going over that saying um go high level has been infringing on their patents and sealing their ideas and this and that so here is the actual lawsuit summary this is what we're going to go over in this video as well as afterwards we're going to talk about clickfunnels 2.0 their new CRM feature and

Is this competition with go high level are they kind of trying to start copying go high level now in terms of their C CRM functionality um we're going to dive into all of that and I'll give you my thoughts and my opinion so I ran the uh legal um document into um you know chat GPT and you know got a quick overview and I'll go through kind of what it actually is talking about in that document right here so in the

Lawsuit um Edison doing business as clickfunnels against high level alleges patent infringement by high level the complaint filed in um the complaint filed in the US District of Delaware centers on two patents owned by clickfunnels identified as patent number there and patent number here both patents pertain to website creation for creating uh website creation system for creating websites having at least one series of directional web pages and related methods uh jurisdiction and venue so going over the jurisdiction right there and

Then claims of infringement clickfunnels alleges that high level platform infringes on at least one claim of both 357 and 047 patents either literally or under the doctrine of equivalence the complaintant uh complaint use includes its charts exhibit B and exhibit d uh purportedly showing how high levels platform infringes on the claims of Click funnels patents although these exhibits are not provided in the text so yeah they're not Prov I don't see them may it must be somewhere else um they're not

In the direct lawsuit that we have literal infringement requires that the accused product or process meets all elements of patent claim doctrine of equivalence allows for infringement to be found uh if the differences between the accused and pro accused product or process and the patent and claims are uh ins substantial and then damages and relief sought so clickfunnel seeks damages uh for past infringement and any ongoing or future infringement up until the date of judgment the damages sought are to be

No less than a reasonable royalty as provided under uh 35 USC 284 additionally clickfunnels request an injunction to prevent further infringement by high level or alternatively post judgment royalties for ongoing infringement pre-judgment and post-judgment interest on Damages as well as costs and expenses of the lawsuit are also sought legal implications this case highlights the complexities of patents infringements litigation especially concerning software and Technology patents the outcome will likely hinge on detailed Technical and legal analysis of the patents in question and

The accused highlevel platform the use of the doctrine uh of equivalence could broaden the scope of infringement analysis making the interpretation of patent claim and their uh equivalence a critical aspect of the case the lawsuit between clickfunnels and high level underscores the importance of patent rights technology and software industry as the case progresses it will provide insights out to courts interpret and enforce patents related to website creation and the broader implications of for the industry the demand for a jury trial

Indicates that both parties are prepared for a comprehensive examination of the facts and legal arguments before a jury so this is really interesting um obviously like I said I'm not no lawyer here so I will give you my opinions and what I'm thinking about this but obviously I don't know exactly how this is going to play out um obviously both clickfunnels and go high are huge huge companies um with a lot of money a lot of money behind them um in

My perspective you know at the start when I started using go high level four or five years ago um I was very I was like once I saw that they had the exact same website builder as clickfunnels like pretty much um which you know other softwares like other softwares besides just go high level pretty much like all a lot of website Builders are very similar um so once I saw that they had that and I mean clickfunnels is liter before what

I'm about to get into which is clickfunnels 2.0 and their CRM um it really just was a website builder so I'm like I was like oh wow clickfunnels is 97 to 29 $7 and it's just a website builder whereas go high level does so much more and it includes that and more it was kind of a no-brainer to go with go high level um and yeah I mean go high level even allows you to import um clickfunnels URLs into creating a

Go high Lev funnel which is really insane and that was just like gamechanging so um yeah I don't know I mean clickn is claiming that go high levels infringing on some sort of patents they have in terms of their websites um that that could maybe be the case or maybe not who knows but what I will say is it's just kind of interesting now how since go high level has really started to take a huge percentage of the market share um

They have over 60,000 people in their Facebook group they're really really blowing up and I know clickfunnels is probably starting to be like oh damn go high levels a better software then everyone all of our clients like even their big some of their big like influencer type clients are going over to go high level now so it's like they're bringing all of their clients to go high level it's like damn this is an issue now before goil was just a small

Little fish in a tiny pond of you know whales now they're a big whale a big shark um so you know it's kind I kind of laughed when I saw this lawsuit like it's just kind of funny now that how uh clickfunnels is it's like they're pretty much jealous of go high level taking everything um that's my opinion but I mean there could be some like actual substance maybe to an actually infringing on their patents or whatever I don't know that

Part could is going to be determined but it's just in my opinion it's funny how now that go high levels like actually um pretty much taking like it's just a better tool like I'm jumping to my um opinion here but yeah it's like just a better tool now what I will say is once I did find out about this lawsuit it actually led me to go onto clickfunnels and see how clickfunnels 2.0 now has their new funnels and CRM so one

Thing is the lawsuit a lot of I haven't seen really anyone talking about this lawsuit I guess it's fairly new and a lot of people either don't know about it or just I mean it's not huge news like for example I've covered like lawsuits like the Elon Musk lawsuit with Chad GPT or open AI on this uh YouTube page before and there was just so much news going on about it and you got got to see different people's perspectives and actual

But make it their own and make it better that's what I would say and they did that for a few years and now it seems like and and clickfunnels was always just overcharging and giving like limited features and now they're starting to be like damn go high levels this huge this huge uh competitor now um they're actually a viable competitor now we maybe have to copy some of the stuff they're doing all right so that's what they're trying to do here

Everything no unlimited contacts just like it's insane how much value they can give it almost doesn't I used to always wonder how does it economically make sense but I guess it's just software right so at the end of the day they're just not putting any limits on it and then it replaces all these tools and then this one just gives you unlimited sub accounts so um definitely I'm 100% recommending go high level and not only just because of the pricing um

Clickfunnels is now only just starting to get into this whole CRM game so I mean yeah it's probably better than it's definitely better than what clickfunnels was but um I you know I can guarantee you that each one of their tools like click go high has been doing this whole CRM allinone thing for the last four or five years um and yeah they just they just are I mean there's no way clickfunnels can catch up um not right now and I

I'm basically going to say not ever I don't think I mean who knows I mean there's always pot like the thing is I don't think they can because one they're not going to be able to build what go high levels built and two even if they somehow did which is like literally like 1% chance maybe less um there's there clickfunnels is trying to just charge you more money like that's their business model is like give the typical business model of limited

Functionality for software and charging you a high price that's what their model is go high levels model is low price give you everything you absolutely need and build upon based what your recommendations are they if you recommend stuff in their community on their ideas board they're actually going to implement those things so all in all it's just completely better that you know it's just uh Sea and the team at go high level they are absolutely uh crushing it I love how
