The Current State Of AI, AGI, Open AI, GPT 4 Turbo, AI Assistants, and Dev Day (IM BACK)

Hey what's going on everybody Josh pook here back with another video let's get right into [Music] it all right so in today's video it's not really going to be about a specific topic more or less I want to talk about the current state about AI all right if you're not you know up to date with the current trends this Monday open AI you know announced they had their whole Dev Day event and I did a video a couple days ago kind

Of covering some of the topics within there just to summarize briefly a few of the main points gp4 turbo is now released within the API and to some users so there's that if you know you're not familiar with the whole specs of GPT 4 gp4 Turbo GPT 4 had about an 8 to sometimes 32k context window for Cent users for me it was like 8K and context window to sum up is basically the amount of info you can kind of get

Give it all right Bard had has I believe 100K uh token or sorry not Bard uh Claude has like 100k token token Contex window um which is very high which was the highest and uh you know their model comparative to G gp4 gp4 turbo I would say um obviously gp4 turbo is you know definitely in my opinion the most advanced model right now um but now gp4 turbo um has 128k wio so it's more accurate more up todate you know I

Believe the the cut off date now is uh July or August uh Fe March April I think it's you know April or sometime early this year in 2023 before it was 2021 all right so we got that and then a huge thing is these new AI agents all right so right now the AI agents they're not fully autonomous they're not autonomous you see these open- Source projects that people are doing such as um Auto GPT or um baby AGI whatever the

Case may be you know where they could think process uh decisions Etc um so and honestly in my opinion you know i' I've used them but I've never fully actually used them for more projects or whatnot because it's just not as it's not it's not really at that level yet no one's really solved it to the point where they can you know um where they can fully run autonomously and you can build swarms and whatnot but uh at this point point

I kind of just want to give you some of my thoughts on where we're at and what you can expect and why if you've been following my this channel for a while while I'm back I mean I've been planning on get coming back making more videos but now it's like I have to come back for for for myself for you guys for everyone this is a time this is a very crucial time in you know technology and Ai and you know

Just where we're at in human existence um cuz within the next 6 to 24 months we have achieved AGI if you're not familiar with what AGI is artificial general intelligence um basically where you know AI surpasses humans in most capacities I mean people have different definitions for AGI but that's uh you know kind of a brief you know definition right there and uh basically you know we're at the point right now with these AI assistants you know they launched the the

Uh GPT store right so you can build your own GPT AI assistant and you don't have to be a developer you don't have to like with the whole plugins things they never achiev product Market fit because you know you had to be a developer you had to know code to build these certain plugins never really and then also two people had to switch between these certain things so now it's all encapsuled in one um you don't have to be a developer

You can speak to it and program them just in in natural language and you can upload you know you know knowledge bases and whatnot so this this whole update first of all yes it may some people are like oh it killed startups killed certain startups I mean if you built a just kind of like a a wrapper around a full business a like a business I mean it's not really you know necessarily a full legitimate business you kind of just are

Riant solely on this thing and you know it's kind of like back when Apple um was first coming out this same sort of thing happened people you know they would incorporate you know the flashlight or these certain things that other that you used to have to use other apps where then it just gets brought into the native system so they're building this thing the best tools they'll start incorporating them there's and um so there's that you know I seen a lot

Of people doing AI automation agencies oh you know we can't do this can't do that yeah that's true like certain things with in terms of programming chat AI chat Bots and stuff that's all like super easy now anyone can do it with basic train like basic knowledge on just typing in a prompt um you know hey I want you to do this on this specialized knowledge uploading the specialized knowledge and then it will be trained on that data so that's really

Cool you can build these AI assistants and now if you haven't played around with this um some users I believe have it within their front-end you know uh frontend you know end user um side of chat GPT most people will probably have to go back into the API into the playground section so playground. open.com that's where you can actually use those assistants you can see kind of some of the new stuff there I'll probably do a video on like you know

I will do definitely some videos on that later I've been going in depth I've been up very late just playing with these things talking to these things doing these using these things through so many different use cases and it's it's really mindblowing you know just with the possibilities so right now even Sam Alman said in the in the video if you watch I would highly suggest if you want more details on this go watch the dev Day video um he actually

Said at the end that there's like roll pull this out slowly type thing he basically said that they're not just going to come like like I even saw a few different times they're not just going to come out like they could have technically it could have been a situation where they just you know came out of the Woodworks in like 2 three years and just had this powerful AGI thing um it's not going to really happen like that they're going to

Slowly roll out um you know different you know different to like tools on top of it you know now we first it was just a little chat system now we have these AI assistants the GPT store where you're actually able to sell these things kind of like a app Store make a revenue share so that's pretty cool um you know I'll probably get into that as well because I've been building some pretty cool Bots but um so yeah in my opinion

The next steps the next kind of roll out is going to be more autonomous Bots cuz right now we're basically kind of like this middleman we are the ones telling the Bots what to do they're not fully running by themselves they're not able to fully you're not fully able to delegate tasks they not able to manage other Bots first it's going to be more of these uh swarms swarms of these AI assistant Bots and then over time it's going to get

More autonomous Etc and uh you know they're maybe new models come out gbt 5 whatever but essentially like by next year even s mman said this next Dev year Dev day you know so this was the first dab day the weekend they had the AI summon in the UK uh whatnot you can watch that Elan mus video Etc he was there bunch of other speakers but um lots lots happening A lot's changing really quick for those of you who've been following

This channel it's funny I actually was doing like AI videos I upload a video every day for seven months um before chat GPT was even released obviously there's been GPT uh 2 and you know gpt1 Etc people building apps using AI for it's been AI has been around for like you know for a long time 10 20 30 40 you know whatever 10 20 30 years whatever um people have been like dabbling Etc building things but um in terms of it

Actually becoming mainstream chat jpt I've been I was doing like AI review videos Etc um so I've been and I still have been completely IM uh immersed into the AI space and and especially since I've been gone there's a lot of cool stuff I got for you guys so I'm excited to bring it to you just wanted to make an update video for you guys especially with the AI space I've been non-stop thinking about it like I literally can't stop thinking

About all the Plus posibilities where things are going the next steps autonomous robots autonomous assistant every it's going to be encapsulated into every area of your life right now 92% I believe of uh Fortune 500 companies are using open AI all these big companies are using these things the assistants are going to get Incorporated there's crazy new stuff with the different modalities in terms of um you know now you're able to uh up uh uh upload like a photo of yourself

And tell Del to you know create it or put it in this situation so now can actually recreate the photos Etc uh the new whisper 3 is out get into some of that stuff later so a lot of new cool updates but um yeah the main thing is like guys AGI is around the corner it's going to be here there's going to be the point where companies full scale multi-million dollar companies or more you know that would have had to have

A 100 employees thousand employees are going to be using these autonomous robots it's going to cut costs and they're going to be able to run with like way less employees right so all these different jobs all these different tasks are going to be you know cut from from these things right so it's it's kind of a crazy world we're in right now crazy time but hopefully you're going to be one of the people who's actually on you know able to capitalize
