AI chip wow that can be used to train large language models and potentially avoid costly Reliance on Nidia uh and and uh Microsoft has also built its own Arm based CPU for cloud workloads both custom silicone chips are designed to power its Azure uh data centers and at the time ultman said uh open AI has been working with Microsoft to refine the test of the Maya AI ships with its own models Microsoft was quick to play down its ai ai chips

Impact on a clone n Nvidia partnership um but the mayap GPU is part of a series and the company is already working on a second generation Microsoft still has a multi-billion dollar investment in open AI rumored to be worth around 10 Bill uh Microsoft is an exclusive Cloud partner for open Ai and Microsoft's cloud service power all open AIS workloads across products API services and research so yeah he did mention in a tweet that they remain committed but and they're excited
