NEW: Elon Musk Drops Open AI Lawsuit & Gets Sued For xAI From Tesla Board 🤖⚖

So a few months back Elon Musk fired a lawsuit against open Ai and samman basically saying they went from open AI to closed Ai and over the course of the last few weeks as well elon's been made pretty active in the AI industry AI space you know he mentioned during the Apple uh announcement of Apple intelligence that none of his companies would be allowed to have apple if they had a partnership with open Ai and it was integrated on the OS

Level and then recently we're going to get into this in this video but he actually dropped that previous lawsuit and is currently apparently getting sued by his own investors of Tesla for launching xai let's dive right into [Music] it all right so like I mentioned before we covered this on this channel we went through this whole entire lawsuit but uh this is the lawsuit very long and of course we're not going to go over it in this video but Elon filed

This a couple months back and you know basically said that open AI went from being a a open source for-profit type company to very very close Source for-profit companies so that was his kind of uh reasoning for that and and then also too like I said recently since apple and I did a video on this a couple days ago but if you didn't didn't realize when Apple AI or apple launched Apple intelligence as well as their uh partnership with open aai

Um Elon was very vocal about mentioning that none of his employees would be able to have Apple's iPhone in their facilities if it was integrated with open AI at the OS level okay and then just recently Tesla investors um begin to start suing El mus for launching a quote unquote rival AI company cl to alleged that mus breach their FID fiduciary duty by Tesla by founding xai and shifting resources from Tesla to the startup so on one so what we're basically

Seeing is Elon try to sue open Ai and Sam and all them he's definitely not a fan of open AI at the moment um basically you know like like I said because they went from open to closed apparently and also too it's uh I mean they're the biggest competitor in terms of like the AI race as well as he believes that they don't have they're not best fit to you know achieve AGI um and then so he he buys X buys

Twitter now he has X Ai and you know Apple the basically the biggest phone company and one of the biggest tech companies in the world in uh launching Apple intelligence as well as partnering with open AI is huge um is a huge set of distribution for open AI like it's everyone everyone in their grandma and their mom has an iPhone so everyone would basically get their hands on uh open Ai and chat gbt and it would be basically on pretty much

Everyone's phone depending on how they actually do it we don't know exactly how they're going to do it yet with open AI because they have apple intelligence and then uh GPT 40 or maybe it'll be GPT 5 at the time they said they're going to integrate it sometime later this year so that is like from Elon Musk standpoint if he doesn't like open Ai and doesn't think they're best fit for AGI for a multitude of reasons obviously that's very bad for

Humanity in his eyes as well as that's his biggest direct competitor so and now not only that to add insult to injury his own uh Tesla stakeholders or investors are trying to sue him for apparently launching uh XA which is apparently a rival company so several AI stake or Tesla stakeholders are accusing eat musk and the company's Board of knowingly diverting talent and resources away from the company and directing it towards musles musk's rival artificial general intelligence company XII and the

Laws to the stakeholders alleged that MOS and the board breach their fiduciary duty by uh to Tesla by launching xai which was founded in 2023 on the premise of understanding the true nature of the universe H the plan L has filed their lawsuit in Delaware company is incorporated only hours before Tesla stakeholders are set to vote on a proposal to reincorporate the company in Texas after a devil where Court voided mus enormous pay package the lawsuit was first reported by business

Insiders anyway so yeah he is um apparently getting sued all while musk was diverting Scar's talent and resources from Tesla to xai and raised billions of dollars for xai while touting xi's access to Tesla AI related data the lawsuit reads last week AI xai raised 6 billion in its initial funding round which is said to that it will use uh to bring its first products to Market so far xai has Gro and supposedly uh edgier version uh supposedly edgier version of

Open AI cat gbt which is available via X but only for two premium subscribers so let me know what you guys think about you know this lawsuit right here um do you think it it's valid for Tesla to be doing that or Tesla St to be doing this also um like I was saying um Elon actually dropped that initial lawsuit against open Ai and Sam one day before it actually was set to uh go to court so he withdrew the lawsuit

Um billionaire Elon Musk moved to drop his lawsuit against AI firm open AI I accusing them AB of abandoning their original Mission of developing AI for the benefit of humanity rather than profit MOS who was the co-founder in 2015 sued the company along with uh CEO Sam mman president Greg Brockman arguing that they breached its founding agreement of developing open source artificial intelligence AGI uh technology for Humanity's benefit must a part of the company in 2018 and um must lawsuit claimed

Yeah so just go over the lawsuit we covered a lot of this well we covered all of it uh Alman Brockman and fellow co-founders uh suser wrote that they intended to move to dismiss all elon's claims and they added that they regret the falling out with musk in light of recent success of the launch of chbt um so that's just going over there response and uh in May uh May xai announced that it received billion in series B funding from investors
