Just look at the melon website I'm not going to go through the whole entire thing but you can see here it is create stunning live streams with ease you can see some examples here so if you're someone that is a content creator or a pod if you have a podcast or you do a lot of Facebook lives Twitter lives or even like something like a twitch stream or a YouTube streamer this is a tool that you should definitely check out now

Let's actually just keep scrolling down we'll just go through their whole website so you can add your own branding personalize it for your stream go live in just five clicks personalize your stream you your guests do not need to make an account they can just click uh you know they can just join with uh your broadcast with one click with scheduling you can plan and share with guests ahead of time you can multi-stream which is super cool so reach more people

When you stream grow your show through Facebook YouTube Twitter LinkedIn and twitch at the same time you can do this all with one click and we will take care of the rest custom RTP RTP or sorry rtmp works too so if you want to connect through RTM peep you can do that as well but they have all these platforms integrated very easily with one click uh some testimonials recording so you can record your stream at the same time giving you access

It is actually made by the company streamlabs Labs so if you're a streamer or if you use tools like OBS you're probably familiar with streamlabs OBS so they're the actual creator of this tool which actually makes it even it's an established it's behind a very very established plan brand stream Labs OBS is uh probably the top two in terms of actual streaming software that people usually compare to like it's usually OBS or streamlabs OBS so it is made by those creators

It's just a complete web-based uh solution so it's it's really cool and let's look at the pricing so take your live stream to the next level choose the best plan for your needs start in seconds no credit card required and figure out Pro Plan makes sense for you so we have a monthly option obviously then the annual option where you save 138 bucks if you're on the standard um you can see there is a free option so accept donations real-time alerts

For supporters streaming limits so you can only stream up to four hours on this plan up to two participants Limited Brand customization branded Watermark co-host add a teammate so this I mean maybe if you're just starting out you know and you're really strapped for cash but I mean I wouldn't recommend it you know if you can afford something obviously these two options are a lot better ideally this one because I can see you can get 1080p max resolution which is super

Cool but let's look we have the standard options so 15 bucks a month um you get 20 or 720 max resolution all uh your logo no watermark react use sound of sound and effects during your stream up to six participants unlimited streaming multi-stream to three destinations record up to four hours per stream local recording up to four hours per stream upload one pre uh one hour pre-recorded streams unlimited branding logo overlays themes disconnect protection custom rtmp 15 days recording storage upload

Media files 150 megabyte limits per file and then multiple cameras co-host up to three seats so this is a good good option we're going to look at some of the competitors as well and see how their price all right I don't want to make this video too long so I'm going to try to rush through specific things but you can see here the Pro Plan 50 bucks 49 bucks 1080p up to 12 guests multi-streams unlimited 10 hours per stream two hours

Haven't even gone through all this yet you know I really just got the tool a couple days ago so you're kind of getting my reaction to actually going through this tool as well like I did the basics of setting it up but uh there's gonna be some stuff that I actually learn going through this with you guys as well so streaming to Facebook groups so you can stream it's to really any place uh of the main channels I'll show you that

I saw someone say that they bought all the different tools that were listed on appsumo uh before pretty much um that we're in regarding to streaming and this was definitely the best one I saw I saw a review like that somewhere but um yeah so this like it if you know if this deal is gone I'll still leave a link and you can check it out and it still is a really great tool that you can potentially get but um you

Know so it could be for you or it may not depends but if you're watching this before the deal is gone then or before the deal is uh before this you know deal is not taking off appsumo then this is a must-have like that's that's that's really it so I'm gonna get into it you can actually you know get into the dashboard and we'll see how everything looks within melon but before I quickly do let's just take a look okay wait

There's melam so there's OBS so OBS just a quick comparison between OBS and melon I love OBS it's a free tool if you don't have it already definitely get it but uh it's a desktop tool I'm not gonna this is not an OBS review or tutorial maybe in the future if you guys like let me know I'll make some on how to use OBS how to set up OBS but the way you can view melon is obviously it's a web-based tool

And it's a lot more user friendly so really anyone can use this OBS I don't want to say it's complicated but it can be complicated right when I remember even me I'm a very tech salary person when I first started using OBS I had a watch like a few hour long tutorials set things up took me a few days to really get the hang of it you know even still I'm still learning things it's whatever the case may be so uh

Melon is a lot more user friendly similar to you know stuff like restream and stream uh and stream yards so let's take a look quickly at here's the restream uh lifetime deal that expired by the way so I'm not gonna go through the all everything but you can see here there was a lot more limits you know there was different tiers and at least from what I'm seeing there looks like there was a lot more limits like you know you could

Only connect to Facebook channels uh doubling channels 10 file video storage whatever so there was a lot more limits for this appsumo lifetime deal for restream so I was actually surprised when melon had such a better deal in my opinion and potentially a better tool so I've heard people say it's a better tool I don't have restream so I can't fully say but I really like melon so far and then here's restream's actual pricing so you can see um here's what

The actual pricing is so if we go to monthly it's about the same pricing as melon right except melon gives you unlimited stuff so in terms of you know melon compared to restream just on pricing it completely blows it out of the water because uh restream limits you right and okay they do have 1080p here um but other than that I'm not going to dive into the actual technicals of restreaming the quality and we can compare I've heard people say they

Like melon batter I haven't done a deep uh you know Research into what tool is better but I personally from at this point prefer melon and the pricing is a lot better even on the app symbol deal or just on the the regular pricing so that's why I'm saying even if you missed the app Sumo deal um you know it could definitely could still be a tool that you would look to to pay the monthly for if you want it's uh

It's a fair tool for you know getting what you get with unlimited channels all that good stuff unlimited connections and then quickly we'll just look at stream yard which uh stream yard and then be live um so these are two other tools stream yard we have zero so I don't I want to make this video as fast as possible so you can kind of look at the the pricing here for stream yard um so it's a bit cheaper on the professional

Plan oh wait no this is annual okay so it's actually a little bit more expensive on the basics same as the uh it's the same price on the professional but you're still limited a lot more from what I can see um yeah only eight destinations and then be live be live is just way more expensive right so let's actually dive into uh Melon now and also too by the way guys um appsumo like I said before they have that 96 hour

And you'll also see your guess and you could do the same thing see the team so you can invite team members um how much team members do I have again um I think I have like three or four or five or something so that's really cool um let me see okay um we'll dive into that in a second and is this so Josh team if I click here click edit I guess I can change the name so I'll just put uh

It is pretty fast like it's I have a bunch of stuff open on my computer right now like up if you guys saw I have like three screens with a bunch of tabs open so it may take a little bit longer um right now my computer's probably a bit slow right now but it is a fast web app it's slick it's clean it's very easy to use so yeah you can see my camera's in use right now so it will give

You like a thing saying allow melon to use your mic and camera right off the bat your webcam and you can just allow it on the right here you can see we have our account light mode support report bug settings keyboard shortcuts so open settings in a different tab you can see we have a bunch of keyword shortcuts here which you can learn and then chat so you can see stream or private so starting chat with your team so this would

Be a chat with the team so maybe if you had like people moderating or whatever you can chat to them in private and then here's your actual stream so nothing to see here start streaming to view chat and learn more about chat platform support okay so chat platform support we are continually improving our platform Integrations to let you know to let you effectively engage with your viewers currently we only allow posting for stream hosts and do not support guests posting yet

I just I didn't even know about this website I guess it's a streaming thing I just made the account because they said that they just got the integration so I said whatever let me make it now typically I don't usually like stream to every single thing but I just want to add a bunch of things to test it out you can see here I already have one two three four five six seven eight nine ten connections which is a lot uh

More than you know all the other tools that I already showed you like you couldn't this many connections on any of the tools I showed you that are comparable even on their highest plan so even on the melon app once the lifetime deal is not available if you get the monthly deal at the 50 49 bucks per month you can I'm pretty much I'm pretty sure you can just have unlimited connections which is super powerful super cool I don't know I

Yeah I don't I mean I haven't tested it out and seen if I can add like 100 connections but I don't think you would need that many but you can see here I have 10 um I could maybe add a few more but I wouldn't need much more even than this I mean maybe a few more but yeah it's really great then I guess you would just let me see if I wanted to click so you can have your personal account

Let me just test like YouTube next stream information so you can do a live stream or a pre-recorded video upload Max two hours so this is really cool you can upload up to a two hour video wow that's that's cool I'm not gonna go through it all but you can set details show our links so that's awesome you can schedule broadcasts there design right so you can add your logo here not gonna go through it right now through all the files

But you can add your logo you can see here I added our logo right here I probably um add a different version either the one with the white text or maybe like a gif or something I don't know if you can add gives this is looks like a gif but I don't know I'll have to test that later but you can add a logo here and you can drag it around resize it all that good stuff and uh background so you

Can change the background like that okay or you can upload a new background or you could just choose one of these show more so there you have it and just hide this okay and then overlay so you can actually upload overlays as well or they do have a free few preset ones they're nothing too crazy nothing too great in my opinion but I mean if you wanna you know show that it's a nice fall season right now October you could do

Use this one but I probably would not catch myself using any of their pre-made ones um and then Styles so let's see here is the so also too which was cool you can have new you're gonna set up new profiles so if you don't know what a profile is and how that kind of makes sense I'll show you that in a second but basically all the calibrations that I'm setting up right now within this profile you could set up different profiles

So say if I have a podcast and the the how I configure everything is set up for the podcast then when I do my YouTube videos I have a specific uh configuration for the YouTube or for the Facebook group whatever where it's like you know they accelerate your stride podcast and I have all the accelerator stride podcast branding on that one configuration then for the you know for my YouTube videos I don't have the it's not a podcast so I don't

So you can set up the profiles um like that and that's really cool right so let's see so style you know style uh affects your banner participants names and highlighted chat right so you can see examples here all right so I could choose default casual rounded boxy whatever the case may be you can change the branding so whatever font you want that they have they have a decent amount they don't have a bunch but they do have a little bit uh

The colors right white gold whatever you can see the theme so you can view all themes they have some oh wow I haven't even seen this yet uh Shinobi oh this is cool oh that's actually kind of cool that's actually kind of sick I'm not gonna lie if I was like a twitch gamer you know this is a nice uh uh Naruto type thing all right view themes Shinobi RPG so these are actually kind of cool surprisingly um yeah so they

Have some cool looking themes here you can play around with them I'm not gonna go through every single one but I don't either have the outro outrun um you can see cotsky wow they really like their Naruto stuff this is actually really cool anyways so the themes um you can apply or discard I kind of like this so okay now I'm not gonna I'll just discard this um oh wait I don't want that theme though for sure whatever I'll just fix

There we go looks solid let me add a ticker I don't know what a ticker is but uh oh I think that's um sub scribe all right show that yeah so that's what I thought it was so that's pretty cool right and you can reverse the direction or add it to the top so it's kind of customizable in that respect now teleprompter so this is read Auto scrolling text that you prepare ahead of time during your live show um sound professional

Right so you can set up a little teleprompter here and prompter only will be visible for you so you can add text up to 2000 text let me just hey welcome to my YouTube Channel oops see if we can view it okay so wow that's actually really cool that's pretty cool like if I was doing a stream and I just wanted to have some notes or whatever I could set up a little teleprompter right here and that would actually help um

Now let's check out videos so here are some countdown timers that you can have before the stream right or you can obviously import your own so you can actually set this as intro or outro okay and there is some sound on this let me just turn that down actually pretty cool though um how do I stop this actually like I'm just kind of playing around with this right now and I actually am learning a lot so you can filter by stock

Uploaded so this is like like keep in mind guys this is a browser-based tool this is something that you can use very easily you don't have to set it all up like OBS or streamlabs OBS which I love I love those tools I use them but this is something that's very simple right you can just kind of set it up and you don't have to do too much worry about too much technical stuff you can also use it on any computer

You don't have to like OBS you if you set your OBS customizations up on the computer like obviously you could export those settings and import them to a new computer but say if you're traveling a lot or on a laptop and you're using a different computer or you're at someone else's place you want to do a stream you can just log into melon app so it's a it's a great tool for that so don't I don't I didn't expect it to

Like to have so many different customizations it doesn't come close to the amount of customizations you can have with a tool like OBS or even streamlabs OBS but um it's not supposed to that's really not it's a unique you know selling proposition it's it's it's a bit different but I use but like I love them both right they just have different use cases like if I was doing my podcast this could be an easy tool um especially with Talking Heads like

You can have your gas and you can easily you know have their name each side and you can see here um enable up to one participant up to one participant uh toggle portrait mode so I'm gonna toggle portrait mode if it's for mobile and enabled up to one participant I think this is how you switch um there's like different uh ways that if you have different people in your CH like your your stream say if I had three people like you

Could have one head that's really big and then two like little ones over here or you'd have them all the same size I think there's certain ways to do that I think that's what these may be but we don't have any guests right now so these are the clips I guess these are new so yeah that's pretty cool um you can set one as intro or as outro and you can also upload your own so I have a few I'll probably

Upload my own but maybe I'll even try some of these out then you can enable green screens so you can set their screen color green or blue I haven't tried this out yet I do have like a really good green screen that just pulls down from behind my desk so I'll actually be using this in the future um and I don't know I haven't like I hurt I don't know if it works if you don't have a green screen I don't

Think it does I don't know I'll have to test it out but obviously it works with the green stream you can either set a new background or they have a few default ones so I'm going to summarize your enabling insurance so it does use more GPU resources works on high-end computers green screen is enabled on PCS and not for mobile browsers okay makes sense so understand okay uh okay so please switch your camera okay so I'm not going to do this

Right now but I'll test that out later anyway so that's the green screen pretty cool now let's check out settings so settings um output so your full HD 1080p I have that enabled so record so record your stream so you can save and upload to Youtube so you can either record right here or go live you can choose either one and then local recording so record your streams locally for each participant and edit it later right so oops there we go

You can learn more about that too but it's pretty self-explanatory if you want to have it locally recorded on your device um so you can enable disable I have that disabled right now um so you can change your name right here how it's going to show up obviously Josh and then stream Avatar just my photo and then show names you can enable disable show your participants names on stream audio status so you can see if someone's muted on stream so it

Will show that in the video enable disable audio warning so warn your users if we detect they might be talking while on mute so that's actually really cool all right so that can help with a lot of issues right and then TTS on join announce via audio when a guest joins your screen stream so you can have that enabled disabled speak indicator so show a visual indicator over the active speaker on stream display quality indicators so indicators of network quality and

CPU overuse they are visible for guests but not stream viewers all right makes sense and then show stream to or show screen share to self okay makes sense so turn this on if you're sharing your screen you want to be able to see it and then name at the bottom disabled participant's name at the bottom of their video so you can enable disable and then toggle around the corners so pretty self-explanatory things but it's really cool they have some cool little

Customizations and then apps so like I said this is a tool by streamlabs so it actually can connect to um a few different stream Labs tools actually two so widgets so ad Dynamic and custom stream notifications to your live show and then cloudbot so keep your chat clean and protected build engagement with your viewers so you could go to cloudbot and this is handled for moderation and you could enable cloud for twitch YouTube and you could go to cloudbot settings I'm

Not gonna do go through my streamlabs settings right now you can see here it pulls up streamlabs you can change some of the settings here which is really nice and then if we go back to apps widgets so I connected my streamlabs so I can enable alert boxes donation Ghouls and chat boxes if I wanted to if I wanted to learn more you can read about it on their blog but uh so yeah you can kind of have melon integrate with

Streamlabs and probably they're gonna have more cool features and Integrations with streamlabs in the future since they are one in the same in a sense right um which is great right they it's it's great to have like a tool I don't know too much about you know who's the creators of restream or what all these other tools but streamlabs OBS has been a tool that's been around for a long time and they're a very established company you know you can look

Up streamlabs there's a ton of videos on them a lot of big very big creators use streamlabs OBS so it's great to have a tool like melon if you're gonna look for a web-based uh streaming app like this that is actually created by a very big company that you know basically you know that they're going to be around for a long time they're going to keep improving and it's also great too because you you'll be able to leverage I'm assuming even

As of now yes you can but even probably more in the future all the powerful elements of stream Labs with uh melon you know that's what I that's what I predict in the future so I'm excited to see what the future holds for melon um you can just see here news no notifications enable disable light mode count um settings I believe yeah so here's the settings this is the last thing will go over and then we're done so this is actually

How you add your destinations so destinations right here you can see I showed you before the stuff we connected so trovo Facebook Facebook page LinkedIn so all you would do is Click add destination you can see here we have YouTube Facebook profile Facebook page Facebook group LinkedIn personal um LinkedIn company twitch Twitter and then trovo right so you can add any single one of these and you can also add a custom rtmp so this is basically gives you so much options

To add pretty much whatever you want it's a really great tool like I'm so excited I just got it like two days ago so I'm super excited I think you can probably tell by my voice I've been looking into different tools like I was planning on uh you know maybe getting restream or looking at stream yard and then I just saw the sale come up on appsumo and I didn't even know I never heard of melon but then I started looking

Into it once I checked it out and I just realized wow this is a great tool so destinations broadcast and recording so nothing to see here right now but this would be password recordings stream forwarding so live stream your Zoom call go live from streamlabs desktop to multiple destinations and more wow this is oh my goodness oh this is so cool I didn't even see this oh my goodness so I'm gonna I don't wanna play around with this right now um

Just because it may take me a little bit to figure out seems pretty self-explanatory and easy but streaming from Zoom get RTP so this is just so cool wow ad stream details are you ready to forward your stream wow I'm actually really excited for this because I use zoom a decent amount for certain team calls and whatever uh trainings all this good stuff so this could be really useful oh my gosh I'm excited okay you know you know a tool is

Great when you just get really excited to create content right anyways so profiler so this is camera so this actually is cool it actually runs you can click run and it's going to check your like what you're using um for your device so you can see here I have HT HD Pro webcam C C920 OBS camera checking so it's just like it's it will I don't wanna out of I don't know if it pulls up anything confidential does I don't think

It does power toys video conference view so it just literally will show you everything that's running on your computer in terms of audio and video stuff and it will like list it out and whatever right now I think it's unavailable right now I used this before and it worked but it's unavailable right now just because I think I'm I'm recording a video um billing so you can just see your billing here payment invoices and then account your name referrals contact email
