Hoverify Complete Review & Guide - All In One Browser Extension For Website Development AppSumo 💻

All right what's going on everybody Josh polcock here founder and CEO of executive stride and in today's video we are going to be taking a look at the all-in-one browser extension for web development called hoverify let's get into it [Music] so hoverify is actually a tool that is listed on appsumo and I'll go ahead and show that in just a second but if we're looking at their website right here it's actually a really nice looking website you can see hoverify is

A suite of tools to enhance your web development experience and boost productivity all right they have a video here where it kind of explains everything and a review and then tools for professional web developers so inspector color eyedropper built with responsive assets screenshots and and debugs so inspect HTML and CSS by hovering over an element pick colors anywhere on the page even with uh even from images and iframes uh know what technologies a site uses with one click take a screenshot

Of a page or every tab at once quickly fetch images svgs videos and Lottie animations from any page preview any site on multiple screen sizes side by side and debug so check for broken links HTML somatic elements clear cache Etc so I actually have tools and Chrome extensions for like each one of those specific things but they're all in separate tools and also too the inspector within hoverfi which is one of the main reasons I got it just seems to be

A lot better and a lot easier which I'll show you in just a second but I have a coloreye dropper right here so I can use colors if I wanted to get this color I can see the hex code right here uh this one is called Color Picker eyedropper it's free I have built with somewhere here and my vast extensions but I have built with which is literally a name of a tool which shows you the Technologies and different ones like

That but hoverify just seems to like here's an inspector it has a lot more stuff so I have two inspectors that I like to use lots of the times other than hoverify which I just recently got and we'll be using more and more now um which is live editor right here this isn't really like I mean I can go where is it I can click here to select an element and then I can select elements like such right and I get

This stuff but it's not as user friendly and it doesn't give you as much options as ever if I which I'll dive into in a second and then I also have style bot open stylebot it's pretty decent um like I can click here uh for example go to this text right here I can change the text to monstrant size I can change it to here line height whatever um alignment text color make it red background make it blue I could hide

It change the margins padding border change the stuff like there and then if I go to code I can actually see the the code that I was doing and then what does magic do I don't know but that is stylebot it's still pretty useful tool um I I don't know 100 I'm just getting hoverified so we can see if it will completely replace it or just be a nice uh you know if they'll be very well like if they'll be good

Together a nice compliment as well so computer view selected view media queries and animations and I also have a tool to save a lot of images and all that stuff which is the standard loti uh extension right here a lot a grabber but um it's pretty cool it does all-in-one it has a bunch of Suites and not only that not it's it seems like from what I've seen it looks like a tool just has a lot of better stuff in my

Opinion so copy Styles export to copen Google fonts guidelines edit elements syntax highlighting grids hide slash remove elements search elements custom CSS and JavaScript hot reload uh font viewer color palette Etc so color eyedropper assets responsive mode so we can see the different responses screen types built with all right so we can see what it uses uh screenshot debug and then video reviews maybe I'll get a spot here um and then on their website we have the pricing for the yearly

Option so it's 30 bucks per year for three activations you get to use it on any one of these browsers use on unlimited websites all features all updates for a year and then I'll take a look at this later but anyways so let's look at their appsumo so on appsumo they have two listings one is for if you have a Plus account which I have and the other is for if you don't so I'll show you the both both of the

Listings they're the exact same um you can see hoverify integrates with all these best for these type of people small businesses solopreneurs web designers all right and you don't have to be a coder or a web designer to have use case for this like I know code I'm not an expert I'm not a a web developer I know a bit I know enough I've been doing you know building websites for over five years and not not from scratch not hard code

Like like completely coding but just using like WordPress other tools Etc I've I've done some work on uh coding different applications and such and softwares but uh typically I never built like I don't do that all myself I know enough where I can hire a team or Outsource it to a team team or get certain Freelancers to help me on certain projects and I can tell them what what I want to be done but even you don't even need to know

As much as me like I don't know enough to be classified as a developer or anything like that but I know enough about different languages of code um you don't even need to know as much as me basically you like I this tool would have been useful right from the get-go when I was doing certain things with web development or with website building funnel building Etc so if you're using stride sales for stride sale CRM so you can look at my

Videos on that I'll leave a description a link in the description below to build all your funnels you can build unlimited funnels it's the better alternative to click funnels and it's a lot cheaper you know you can have unlimited funnels as well as a bunch of other stuff without having to pay like 300 bucks a month 400 bucks a month like click funnels to get unlimited funnels so uh if you're using that or if really if you're using any you know

Funnel or website builder this would come in handy um but uh basically like say if you're looking at a button and you want to steal that button's code for the CSS styling you can easily use something like hoverify to get the code and then paste it in obviously you can go right click inspect and then inspect element and you could go like this and then click on the button and then the button right here here's the code and you could get

The Styles right here but something like hoverfly is a lot easier and it's a lot more beginner friendly for sure even me I use it just because it's just better it's just literally it's it's a lot quicker you know so even if you understand how to use inspect element and all that stuff something like this is just a lot easier so I'll leave a link directly to get the plus exclusive which is 39 bucks Lifetime right so it's cheaper on appsumo

You get the lifetime three activations same sort of thing each code you can actually stack the code so each code gives you one uh license ad and three browsers so um that's that and then I'll also leave the link for if you don't have appsumo plus it is 49 bucks so still a better deal than what's on their website I suppose from getting it yearly for 30 bucks you can pay uh 40 bucks or 50 bucks depending on if you have

Absolute plot premium or not and then you can secure this deal so without a do let's actually take a look at what this feature does this is going to be a quick video I'm just going to dive over and it's not going to be in depth of every single little thing because it looks like they have a bunch of features but I'm on the executive stride website right here look at this beautiful website you can check it out in the description

Of course but let's say if I wanted to steal this button um or get this code for this button click on hoverify you can see I have those same different features we talked about inspect color eyedropper assets responsive debug built with capture Etc so we'll go through each of these quickly but let's click on inspect and as you can see I can literally click on any single element on the page and I like it because it's literally picking up everything right

It's not some tools it has issues with picking up certain things but like I'm just hovering over every little thing and I can see all the different codes all the uh what are the what's the selector of the the the element what the element name is as well as just all the paddings uh the widths the text um all this good stuff so let's click on the button right so you can see this is what I get from the button I

Copy this um and paste it over into my funnel Builder now obviously I would need to make sure I would change this elements basically games unless you have the same element names which could be the case if you're using stride cell CRM but U1 yes you would need to change them specifically or whatever the elements make collecting um but you can click copy so I copy code copy changes add some changes or okay so this is and change it over here

This is like you a copy it but over here is actually where you can change it actually really cool danger and then you can copy changes you copy the code you could copy the selector you could copy the unique selector options here you could I already know what it is and it's pretty cool like an open end code pen and you can see here got a button that is pretty similar to the one that we have right that's pretty cool button

Here so if it's easier you could copy this stuff from codepen over as well that is pretty much it for here you can do undo but okay one in the element in the selector in the inspector you have guidelines so check alignment I meant grids here heads off these are just views actually so guidelines where if you're hovering over something you'll see ESS box padding and margin okay so if you hover you can see the padding which so like this is

So cool it's probably the best like tool for this type of stuff that I've seen and with the lifetime deal it's kind of a no-brainer so this is on so you can know which fonts are being used for every single thing on the page super cool see I have this one but font which I used to use response but now I can just use over five color palette or no this is edit so edit content of an element I could just

Come here and literally edit within hoverified obviously that's not gonna change everything but uh mess things out with that color palette so inspect color palette I have a whole site oh yeah oh this is really cool shows every single color that is in the website which is really cool crash so I could hide or remove an element so if I wanted to remove this oh if I can do it hide it basically all right Etc and then search so I could

Find an element through names so if I wanted to go menu gosh I have so many tabs open right now let me just go back to hoverify inspect that's just because I have literally so many tabs open I have uh like four different windows with a bunch of tabs color palette trash search custom TSS so I could add custom CSS to the whole page to test things out add custom JavaScript as well so it's just super cool like you can literally

Make edits just using hoverify and then you can use it as like a testing and then you could add it into or actual website afterwards and then color eyedropper it's a color eyedropper let me just okay that's not how you do it actually verify color eyedropper pick color select the color you can see here I got the hex code as well as the RGB so I can just literally click copy either this or copy this depending on which one I want

All right so that's super cool back here let me click assets so I can see assets so this is super cool I could literally click save oh and I could save all the images on the website so you can see all the different images website there's a lot so I'm not going to go through them but we can see SVG so there's not no svgs on this current page videos so there is one video but play powerful enough assets videos yeah

So it doesn't pick up the video I don't think just because it's the in it's like an embed but if the video was actually hosted within the website then it would pick it up PDFs and then Lottie images so I there's currently one Lottie image I could download it and download each image separately or click save all so that's pretty cool um so that's assets and then responsive have different phones literally like all the different phones you could think of pretty

Much which is super cool of iPads that many see what your website looks like on these different resolutions kind of laggy right now just like I said I have so many tabs open but look at this this is super cool right and I even believe you can potentially I don't know uh show frame oh yeah so you can hide frames or show the frame yeah everything's kind of slow right now just because like I said I have so many different and

Here's landscape portrait or landscape I feel like it's just kind of laggy right now because I said I have so many stuff open but um this is a pretty cool feature I can add devices too so if I wanted to create my own device device name the width height user agent if you want which is super cool go back actually I could just exit this new tab go to hoverify so debug so we can clear cache clear cookies uh local storage

Cash for the last hour 24 hours seven days 30 days all time Etc so you can easily clear cache within the plugin if you'd like and check out the meta tags so you can copy all if you want but you can see different meta tags name content property content type links link statuses so all the links on the page you can see we have a 404 error on one so this is super cool like this is like some seos like some

Stuff that would benefit your SEO making sure that there's no broken links on your website so here is one that's an old page that we'll have to I'll have to go in and remove this link but you can see all the other links are 200 which is good uh HSC so HTML somatic elements so articles not set so I believe these are different tags um that it checks for and then spell check this is super cool only supports supports English 476

Mistakes could just be not picking up certain things oh where's picking this thing but like yeah it's picking up my last name which is spelled I was like like some of our case studies last names which aren't actual words I mean all right and it's cool to have this is a very long page so Facebook oh because it's picking up some of the like virus total so it's picking up some of the stuff from uh different extensions so anyways it's interesting

It's a cool thing to have and then capture so you can capture full page selected area visible part all tabs so like a visible area and I could screenshot this picture and then it pulls this up I could save PNG save jpeg save PDF save zip so that's pretty cool take screenshots with that and that's mainly it uh let's go to settings here so you can check out the settings you can enable or disable certain tools you can change shortcuts you

Can have shortcuts on uh inspector you can enable certain things disable certain things you can change the color eyedropper Zoom assets uh sort by device name and PC license manager deactivate import settings export settings all right so there's settings you can apply you can check out what's new and uh shortcuts so here's the different shortcuts which you can use so all in all it's pretty cool like here's the shortcuts so toggle edit so let's see director oh so this is when
