Data Mining & List Building 101: Lead Generation - How To Do Data Entry Email Mining Correctly

On this video i'm going to show you how to start data mining this is for my data miners currently there are three of you guys um so i've split you guys are doing the same targeting in terms of uh grabbing the data fields and the specific keywords you're going to be targeting but each of you have different states so each of you have 17 states different states everything is located in the united states obviously i don't want to see any um

Data entries from philippines or the united kingdom or australia everything is from the states um i've given you information right here so massachusetts mrs uh michigan minnesota each of you have different ones uh ryan has kentucky kansas etc michelle has alabama alaska all these ones so basically here there's the states that you get the first list is for marketing agencies so you got the states the data fields which are right here first name last name company name the type so is

It uh the type is basically the keyword so it's an seo agency a facebook advertising agency this this this this bunch of creative agencies and then the address and then the state the email state email business phone personal phone website okay so um we have the list here and then we have the uh the keywords which i already mentioned and then the list two is the same you're going to be targeting the same states but it is for coaches and consultants

So same data fields the keywords for this are like business coaches executive coaches personal trainers nutritionalist nutrition coaches health coach spiritual coaches life coaches management coaches real estate coaches basically coaches um we've had business consultants there too okay so this is um that that's that's how it works that's a targeting here is the template the same template you would use in the test tax already basically made it so it has 1 000 entries honestly i'm actually gonna because you some list

May not have a 1000 so i'm going to delete some i'll leave it with 300 for now and then 300 rows [Music] so it's pretty simple to add more so once you hit the maximum amount right here you just click on the left you highlight as many more as you need you can stop here if you wanted to do all them you can go all the way but you don't want to highlight the top one just highlight you can go up

To two right click insert 299 below and then we would be at 599. i'm gonna undo that though so if you need more rows you can just insert more um i already went over make sure i don't want to see philippines i don't want to see united kingdom for the for the location emails super important make sure you get the emails if you can um if i mean if you're getting all the the three main ones are well the two main

Ones are emails and a phone number emails and phone numbers because we're using these lists for email marketing and uh as well as our call center so um both is the best yeah both of the best um and then what you're gonna do is i'm gonna actually create um i'm going to create specific folders for each of you like this okay and i'm gonna give you access to uh this folder so i'm going to share with each one of you for

Your specific folder so you'll be able to access this you guys are all going to have template and basically what i want you to do so what i want you to do for example is give me a second template what you're gonna do is give me one sec this is very important so please pay attention to what i'm about to say and what i'm about to show you and as always if you do have any questions you can ask in me

And slack and i'll answer so i'm giving you each a template what i basically want you to do is i want to keep these lists organized so that being said the way you're gonna keep the list organized and the way you're gonna save them and name them is we're gonna do it by state okay so you are going to have this this is how you're gonna do it each of you have the template what you would do when you start is

You would com you're you're not going to touch this template you're going to leave it but what you're going to do is you're going to make a copy of it so you would make a copy you would come you would click on the copy so this is michelle so michelle's is right here first state is alabama so i would name this alabama i would do space dash and i would put the list name which is marketing agencies and then what michelle

Would do is she would do the data fields and the keywords seo agency facebook advertising agency social media marketing all these keywords just for alabama and all of them and all of alabama will go in this list now when she's done alabama like once she scraped all of alabama she would she would have alabama done you would let me know notify me in the group done alabama marketing agencies and then she would just what you do is you make another copy

And you do the same thing so she would rename this alaska space dash space marketing agencies scrape all of alaska and do the same thing for all those once she's done down to iowa for the marketing agencies she would do the same thing with coaches and consultants i'm gonna do actually i'm gonna make a folder in each one of your folders one is called marketing agencies and the other is called coaches slash consultants so you'll have a marketing agencies folder with

Alabama marketing or like with all your like out that was michelle so not all you will be doing alabama like ryan has kansas kentucky you do all these states space dash marketing space marketing agencies um and then georgie would be doing massachusetts michigan minnesota space stats marketing agencies for every one of these keywords seo facebook they all be in the same um spreadsheet but we're filtering it by the states so each state has their own spreadsheet with all the keywords in

It okay and then all the spreadsheets for them all the spreadsheets all the lead lists for the marketing agencies you would uh drag it in here to marketing agencies all the ones for the coaches you drag in here so this is how your folder will look each of you get a folder you're going to have the the list of the targetings and all that and then here is a link to the template you're gonna leave this template don't touch it just

Duplicate it so make a copy and then once you made the copy you rename it to the state and then the list name so if i was to use this alabama for coaches this one would be named alabama coaches consultants exactly as i did it right here and i think i spelt it wrong yeah so make sure you spell it right and then i would add it here and so once you're done this like this isn't supposed to take you super

I don't know how long this will take each of you um i i mean there's a lot of states uh we want to get as many as possible so you know just yeah just i don't know how long this will take but um i like what your goal is eventually i don't know if this will take a week like a week two weeks three weeks i don't know how long scrape as many as you can for each state um and then

At the end whenever however long it takes for us to get done we should have 17 lists in marketing agencies and 17 lists and coaches or however many states i'm pretty sure i gave each of you 17 states um so whatever many states i have you'll have a a list for each state for that list type in marketing agencies and then same thing for coaches and consultants and then one whenever like i want you to scrape as many as you can

So don't just like try to scrape a bit and then move on to the next script as many as you can that are that are good um make sure they are from the unite like the united states and make sure they are actually um one of these keywords and then once we're done every single thing then i will give you new criteria but that won't be for a while so this should last you for a while let me know if you

Whatever it is and make sure that you're only doing the the states that i've given you only do the states i've given you because don't just do all of the united states because someone else is doing that so only do the states that i give you if you have any questions whatsoever make sure you ask me because i'd rather you ask me questions then then make me then make a mistake okay so that's pretty much it for uh the task
